Daughterboard Properties |

------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| 10 |
|
| 11 |
The following contains interesting notes about each daughterboard. |
| 12 |
Eventually, this page will be expanded to list out the full |
| 13 |
properties of each board as well. |

| 16 |
Basic RX and and LFRX |
| 17 |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ |
| 18 |
The Basic RX and LFRX boards have 3 subdevices: |
| 19 |
|
| 20 |
* **Subdevice A:** real signal on antenna RXA |
| 21 |
* **Subdevice B:** real signal on antenna RXB |
| 22 |
* **Subdevice AB:** quadrature subdevice using both antennas |
| 23 |
|
| 24 |
The boards have no tunable elements or programmable gains. |
| 25 |
Though the magic of aliasing, you can down-convert signals |
| 26 |
greater than the Nyquist rate of the ADC. |
| 27 |
|
| 28 |

| 29 |
Basic TX and and LFTX |
| 30 |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ |
| 31 |
The Basic TX and LFTX boards have 1 quadrature subdevice using both antennas. |
| 32 |
|
| 33 |
The boards have no tunable elements or programmable gains. |
| 34 |
Though the magic of aliasing, you can up-convert signals |
| 35 |
greater than the nyquist rate of the DAC. |

| 38 |
DBSRX |
| 39 |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ |
| 40 |
The DBSRX board has 1 quadrature subdevice. |
| 41 |
|
| 42 |
Receive Antennas: **J3** |
| 43 |
|
| 44 |
The board has no user selectable antenna setting |
| 45 |
|
| 46 |
Recieve Gains: |
| 47 |
**GC1**, Range: 0-56dB |
| 48 |
**GC2**, Range: 0-24dB |
| 49 |
|

RFX Series |
| 52 |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ |
| 53 |
Transmit Antennas: **TX/RX** |
| 54 |
|
| 55 |
Receive Antennas: **TX/RX** or **RX2** |
| 56 |
|
| 57 |
The user may set the receive antenna to be TX/RX or RX2. |
| 58 |
However, when using an RFX board in full-duplex mode, |
| 59 |
the receive antenna will always be set to RX2, regardless of the settings. |
| 60 |
|
| 61 |
Recieve Gains: **PGA0**, Range: 0-70dB (except RFX400 range is 0-45dB) |
| 62 |
|
| 63 |

| 64 |
XCVR 2450 |
| 65 |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ |
| 66 |
The XCVR2450 has a non-contiguous tuning range consisting of a high band and a low band. |
| 67 |
The high band consists of frequencies between...TODO |
| 68 |
|
| 69 |
Transmit Antennas: **J1** or **J2** |
| 70 |
|
| 71 |
Receive Antennas: **J1** or **J2** |
| 72 |
|
| 73 |
When using the XCVR2450 in full-duplex mode, |
| 74 |
the user must set the receive antenna and the transmit antenna to be different; |
| 75 |
not doing so will yeild undefined results. |
| 76 |
|
| 77 |
The XCVR2450 uses a common LO for both receive and transmit. |
| 78 |
Even though the API allows the RX and TX LOs to be individually set, |
| 79 |
a change of one LO setting will be reflected in the other LO setting. |
| 80 |
|
| 81 |
Transmit Gains: |
| 82 |
* **VGA**, Range: 0-30dB |
| 83 |
* **BB**, Range: 0-5dB |
| 84 |
|
| 85 |
Receive Gains: |
| 86 |
* **LNA**, Range: 0-30.5dB |
| 87 |
* **VGA**, Range: 0-62dB |
| 88 |

WBX Series |
| 91 |
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ |
| 92 |
Transmit Antennas: **TX/RX** |
| 93 |
|
| 94 |
Receive Antennas: **TX/RX** or **RX2** |
| 95 |
|
| 96 |
The user may set the receive antenna to be TX/RX or RX2. |
| 97 |
However, when using an WBX board in full-duplex mode, |
| 98 |
the receive antenna will always be set to RX2, regardless of the settings. |

Transmit Gains: **PGA0**, Range: 0-25dB |

|
| 102 |
Recieve Gains: **PGA0**, Range: 0-31.5dB |
